A beautiful hideaway, a real executive escape that is secluded and private.
Beds are all king size; every bedroom has its own bathroom and verandah access, beach towels, hair dryers, ceiling fans and electric blankets.
Multi channel satellite TV, video/DVD, phone, gas heating, full size kitchen and laundry, wheelchair access/ramps are standard in all cottages and the house.
On Arrival
You will be welcomed at the airport by us and directed to your cottage at Trade Winds. A welcome basket of organically grown fruit (in season) will be in your cottage on arrival.
Trade Winds is part of our 70 acre property and was established in 1999 by owner/operators Lyle and Robyn Tavener.
The property was the original land grant of Pitcairn Islanders Jacob Christian and Samuel McCoy. This rich farmland has been farmed since these beginnings in 1856 and for the past 50 years by the Tavener family.
Lyle (direct descendant of Fletcher Christian from his maternal side) and Robyn are proud to still lay claim to these natural eco-farming methods. All fruits and crops are organically grown.

Set in 4 acres of tropical gardens & lawns, you have the choice of 1 or 2 bedroom cottages, or the 3 bedroom fully restored traditional island style house, all of which are beautifully appointed and very, very spacious.
